Jojoba Esters

Our Jojoba Esters are COSMOS approved, meaning this material has been produced from sustainably grown, non-GMO Jojoba plants using an eco-friendly process. 

Jojoba plants are built to sustain dryness, and are known for their ability to survive in harsh desert conditions where other plants would otherwise perish. These qualities make Jojoba derivatives extremely effective for dry skin, and in particular in situations where skin may encounter a loss of hydration such as during sun tanning. Jojoba Esters form a water-repellant film on skin and, when used in conjunction with glycerin, as is the case for Earth Tan jellies, prevents water loss and significantly improves skin hydration for up to 24 hours.
